                   I have tried to keep explanations to a minimum on here, preferring to let the pictures speak for themselves.  I find that too much readily-supplied information will often not only be patronizing to the viewer, but can also take away the magic of discovery (kind of like hearing the answer before the riddle).  Most pieces, however, contain a good deal of symbolic imagery, tiny details, and foreign language that take the meaning and emotion of the work to different levels.  Please don't hesitate to offer questions or comments if you would like to know more.
